As a psychologist, my research focus on child victimization, and on the impact of interpersonal trauma on the development of the individual. Specifically, I have acquired expertise in the domain of child sexual abuse intervention. My current research centres around three main axes that are related to this issue. The first one seeks to identify factors associated with different profiles of adaptation in sexually abused children as well as with children exposed to other forms of violence; and to the development and evaluation of intervention programs tailored to their needs. The second axis documents the socio-judiciary service trajectories of sexually abused children as well as its influence on their recovery. The third axis contributes to the identification of correlates that are associated with emerging sexual behavior problems in children and to the evaluation of individual and group interventions.
